The fantastically jumping Zangersheide stallion Calvados Z won the 2006 world title for 5 yr old show jumping horse at WC for young horses in Lanaken. Last year, Calvados Z ridden by S Corte, against finished high in the finals for 6 yr old claiming 9th place.His sire Chellano Z is a product of the great progenitor Contender out of a full sister of the amous sport and breeding stallion Corrado I. On his dam's side Calvados Z carries the valuable show jumping genes of holsteiner lineage 162 via the olympic show jumping stallion Carthago Z.

He owes his fame to his products. He entered the stud farm in 1976, and he counts this day 336 products listed as winner in CSO. Among which 75 stallions. He besides produced among others: Ulysses de Thurin ( Willi Melliger), Chief warrant officer of the court.
There is little this lineage which we considered endangered in datum of magnificent results during the CSI of Bourg en Bresse
